Heat is a very breathtaking story about an amazing pitcher, who came over to the U.S.A. from Cuba without a birth certificate. He dreams of pitching like his idol El Grande, but his dad has died and he and his brother live alone. Only his best friend and neighbor know about it. When the coaches from other teams demand his birth certificate he is kicked out for playing baseball. He and his brother must find out how to solve there problems alone.
It was a great book. I recommend it to people who like to read about sports and have a bit of fantasy. It has lots of suspense making it impossible to put the book down.
