I thought that Friends by various authors was a well written collection of stories. Though each story was true or had a basis in fact I didn't like the stories very much. They just weren't my style, perhaps because they were non-fiction. I thought however that other people of different ages and personalities, especially ones who liked the old fashioned outlook, would like these stories. This collection is good to just pick up and read a couple stories when you've got the time.3 Stars
