My Life in Pink and Green by Lisa Greenwald

My Life in Pink and Green is a book about Lucy’s grandmother’s and mother’s pharmacy. The pharmacy is going out of business and Lucy wants to help so bad to make money. Lucy’s sister, Claudia, who is in college, went to an eco-spa with her friend and Lucy wants to make one too. It’s not only good for the environment but it will bring in customers to the pharmacy. When Courtney, homecoming queen for two years in a row, walks into the store with a hair and makeup disaster, Lucy offers to help her. Lucy grabs Friz-a-Friz to help the frizz and a green tube of natural color to help the green tips. The next day Courtney comes back and said it worked. All of her friends wanted their hair and makeup done too. Sooner or later everyone is coming for their makeup. Lucy and her best friend join Earth Club and Lucy finds a pharmacy grant and she enters to win it. To find out if Lucy runs out of business or if she gets the grant, read My Life in Pink and Green.

I really liked this book and it would be a good book for girls age 10 and up. This is now my favorite book.
