This was a fantastic book. It was my second time reading it, but it was still a pleasure to read it again. It is about two families in Copenhagen, Denmark during WWII. The two families, one Jewish, the Rosens, and one Christian, the Johansen's, help each other a lot. The Christian one helps the Jews by hiding Ellen Rosen in Annemarie Johansens bed and pretending that they are sisters rather than best friends, when the soldiers are looking for any Jews. 5 Stars
