Gareth is a little black cat...who can time travel. He and his owner Jason go on nine adventures, from Ancient Egypt to the Thirteen Colonies during the American Revolutionary War. Along the way they meet many different people and many different attitudes towards cats!When I was little I thought this book was the cat's meow (pun intended) but not so much now. It seems quite flat and the historical fiction is heavy on fiction. Only a few characters were still interesting. A good book for the younger set, but critical thinkers and readers will want to look elsewhere.
