  1. I feel in love with the consept of a human loving a vampire. Especialy if that said vampire is Edward. I read Twilight in a few hours. Once I satrted to read the book I couldn't stop even if I wanted too. Although I felt there were things that needed to be said to fully grasp the book. However when I read the second book I never thought I would say this, but I hate Bella how could she not want to marry Edward AAHHHHhhhhhh! Still I love Twilight and New Moon.

  6. This book is the best book I have ever read! It was full-on thriller with great characters and a wonderful romance between (2) people with something keeps them a distance apart. I recommend this book for anybody with a bored day and time to spare for this book. It is deffinentally worth anybody's time.

  7. OMG! This book was my favorite by FAR and WIDE whatever that means. I wasn't into these kinds of books. I was more into books like "The clique" and "gossip girl" but my mom bought it for me so I read it and I fell in love with the characters and the setting and everything. This book was amazing!

I can't wait for the fourth book to come... I want to see how Bella does and how hers and Edwards relationship strengthens... I don't know if I can wait a year!!!!

  11. I LOVED these books!!!! I read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse in about a week. They are my favorite books by far, and I HATE to read. I hope Stephanie Meyer writes a fourth book. Because I am dying to know what happenes when Bella becomes a vampire and marries Edward. I am sooooooo glad she chose Edward over Jacob. Trust me I like Jacob, but I LOVE Edward soooo mcuh more.

  14. Sorry if I make a bunch of people mad...

I decided to read Twilight because it is really popular right now, and it's been recommended to me, by practically every one I know. I wanted to see why everyone liked it so much.

Right now, I'm not very impressed with it. I don't like that fact that it's extremely anti-feminist. All of the female characters are incredibly weak.
Lets start with Bella...The first thing I noticed about her was that she's really self conscience, and doesn't seem to be good at anything. She's really weak, and seems almost incapable of doing anything herself. She always has to have the "big strong man" help her, and rescue her. She is also extremely submissive. She will disagree with Edward, but his way always seems to win.
Her mother is an adult, but Bella feels guilty at the beginning of the book, because there won't be anyone to take care of her mother. She's an adult, and she is capable of living without someone "taking care of her"
I admit I'm not done with the book yet, but unless there is a major change in Bella (and all the other characters, I'm not very impressed)

Edward is a jerk. He is extremely overbearing. He makes up his mind, and that's that. I personally can't stand it.

"true love" no. It's just an extreme infatuation, and an unhealthy relationship. If that's what you want as your "true love", then I pity you.

My recommendation...don't read it, unless you the kind of character you relate to (or are like is) a weak, submissive, girl who can't make decisions (or do anything else for that matter) on her own. In that case I'm sorry for you.

  15. As a matter of fact i completely disagree with the above comment. I don't think that you should dislike the book simply because you beleive it clashes with your ideas. and FYI it's just a book!!! a GREA, FANTASTIC, AND AMAZING book, BUT, JUST A BOOK NONE THE LESS. Twilight has become one of my favorite books of all time and i don't think you should allow your views on feminism, or anything else for that matter, prevent you from really enjoying it. ok?!? i LOVE EDWARD and bella and all the other characters and i'm grateful to the true genious who created this magnificent saga, Stephanie Meyer, my hero, one could only hope to have half of the talent and creativity sha has displayed in the publication of these marvelous books. can't wait for the next one!!!!

  19. Bella's getting to be a really shallow, obsessive and selfish heroine. I can tolerate that to a degree, but this book was just getting annoying. The book looked thick and so full of promise, but every chapter was about the same old whining things. It takes away from any plot that there was in the book. Speaking of the plot, adding the imprinting thing, ugh, why? It's unfair. What if the girl doesn't like the guy (or vice versa)? Am I being too analytical? Poor Jacob and Edward. Stupid Bella. Those two boys are wasted on you!
