Sarah's Key is set in 1942 and 2002. About every other chapter it switches from the past to the present. It's set in france. It's about 10 year old Sarah (from 1942)who is taken by the french police straight from her home in the roundup of 1942. 45 year old Julia Jarmond is an american journalist living in france with her husband and child. She is researching around the time that sarah was taken away. It's about the journey of Sarah Starzynski and Julia Jarmond. This book is very sad,though.
