In my opinion, this is a very good book for people of all ages to read. It definitely deserves the Newbery award on the cover and I really enjoyed it. I thought that the characters were well developed and I couldn't help but think what I would do if I was in the horrible situation that the people in this book are in. I thought the situation these boys were in was truly horrible, but I liked this book anyway.Katie
