At Ellis Island, by Louise Peacock

Ellis Island was a gateway into America. Countless people came from many countries to be inspected at Ellis Island in the book At Ellis Island. Numerous people died or became sick on the boat ride to America. The healthy and rich were allowed into America, but the people of scanty health or the people who did not have the required $25 were rejected and sent back to their countries. I recommend this book to people who enjoy history.
