This book is about an orphan named Cosmo Hill. He is in an orphanage that lets companys test products on their kids. Cosmo escapes and goes off with a secret group of 3 people called the supernaturalists. They can see creatures that suck the energy out of people and from other things. What the group does is kill them by zapping them with enough energy that they "overload" and explode. What they find out, though,is that they haven't been doing what they think they have.
