Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke is a book about a boy, a brownie and a dragon. I liked the plot a lot but thought the story was just the tiniest bit lacking - though I wasn't sure why. I enjoyed hearing about their adventures, but realized that in real life (if real life had mystical creatures) the characters struggles might have been greater. By reading most of her books I have concluded that Cornelia Funke is one of the best authors I have ever read and I would pretty much recommend her books to anyone.4 Stars
