This is basically the story of how two very sad lives intertwine. The first is of a women whose husband has just committed suicide. The other is of an illegal Nigerian refugee who has just watched her entire family die. Usually stories like these can be in some way uplifting, but not in this case. If you want to read this book you should be aware of what you're getting into; it's not light.3 Stars
