Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliett is a story full of adventures and puzzles. When a famous painting is stolen it's up to two 12 year old's to uncover the criminal. The Author always keeps you in suspense with a twist or puzzle. The descriptions of items and people are interesting and unusual, such as Petra's "fierce triangle of hair". I would recommend this to anyone with a love of mystery and truth. Very good, Very fun.4 Stars
