Hit The Road by Caroline B. Cooney

Hit The Road follows Brit, a 16-year-old girl who is sent to stay briefly with her supposedly senile grandmother while her parents go on a trip to Alaska. Instead of staying and doing nothing at her grandmother's house, Brit ends up being the driver for her grandmother's college reunion, a reunion that takes a couple of weird and dramatic twists.

I thought this book was alright. It had some really dramatic (and not necessarily good drama) scenes, but Brit was a believable 16-year-old.
