Mississippi Trial by Chris Crowe

A fine, if not excellent, portrayal of a famous black-rights triggering incident, this book succeeds at making us guess without confusing us.

However it often has too many subplots that don't really make any difference to the main story. The book feels like it could have been much shorter, without losing any detail. Still, a fine read if you enjoy the topic.
