Awesome book, that's for sure.This book was about a kid named Miles Ferell who uses his special gift that he is given to break the curse of the killing beast called:The Shriker. There were a lot of details and imagination put into this book.4 Stars

I was a bit daunted by the size of this book when I picked it up from the library; I'm old enough to remember when no one ever wrote a kids' book over two hundred pages (unless it was from the nineteenth century), and so doorstop-sized things like the Eragon books and The Beast of Noor make me wonder what I'm getting into.
