Libby also known as Bethy, and Elizabeth's dad is an alcoholic.They moved into a retirement home with their Grandma who they didn't know.Their dad thought life would be easier if he said their grandparents were all dead. Later Libby finds out that his dad was a liar. Her brother Rif is smoking cigarettes that he sticks in his hair. Their dad finally goes to rehab, and turns into a normal father. It was a great book! 5 Stars
