This book had a great plot but was confusing and boring. A 'white' witch named Rachel Morgan has the memory of her beloved Kisten's death erased for her own good and 6 months later she is bothered by not knowing. She goes through the crime scene and evidence to find any hint of memory from that one awful day. Slowly over time, she regains her memory. At the same time 2 banshees are loose. One has a killer baby and the other is after the first one. At last the banshees are defeated in a way and Rachel finally remembers what happened to her and Kisten.3 Stars
