During an adventure to the Black Vine swamp, Nick's biology teacher Mrs.Starch, goes back for an asthma inhaler, during a wild fire that was set off by the oil company Red Diamond. The next school day, Mrs. Starch does not go to class. Everybody thought that she probably hadn't gotten out of the wilderness.The asthma inhaler that belonged to a kid in Mrs.Starchs' class had received it, but they didn't know where Mrs. Starch was.The principal had called her house but there was a voice recording saying that Mrs. Starch had a "family emergency". This is all I can tell you, otherwise I might spoil the book for you. I think you will have a great time reading the book!5 Stars
