Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

“Kiss me, Jacob. Kiss me, and then come back.”

“Jacob was right. He’d been right all along. He was more than just my friend. That’s why it was so impossible to tell him goodbye because I was in love with him too. I loved him, much more than I should, and yet, still nowhere near enough. I was in love with him, but it was not enough to change anything; it was only enough to hurt us both more. To hurt him worse than I ever had.”

After Bella reunites with Edward things don’t go as well as they might. Bella is still being hunted by Victoria, a vampire who wants revenge because Edward killed her mate, James. Keeping Bella safe is Edward’s number one priority. Unfortunately for Edward, Bella still wants to remain friends with Jacob. This, Edward does not like. Her frequent visits to the La Push reservation where Jacob lives worry Edward. What if Bella gets hurt? He becomes almost fixated on keeping her safe.

After Jacob asks Bella to love him instead of Edward and kisses her, things go downhill. Edward and Jacob start fighting and Bella seems to be caught in the middle. Rumors spread through school and the three broken friends are not happy.

A few days later news of multiple killings in Seattle hit the headlines, and Edward believes that Victoria is responsible for the crimes. He thinks she is building a small group of vampires to join her. They must prepare fast.

Who will Bella choose? What will happen when Victoria strikes?

Read Eclipse, the third book in Stephanie Meyer’s hit Twilight series to find out.
