This book gets a thumbs up, thats for sure. It begins with a poor family who tries their best to keep light of things. Then Charlie finds a golden ticket to go to the chocolate factory. Charlie brings his grandpa and they meet at the gates with the four other kids and adults. One by one each kid and adult does something wrong and has to leave until only Charlie and his grandpa are left. In the end, Charlie wins the chocolate factory and thats where they live happily.This book was full of lively plot and good humor.
